Serving As Your Compass to Success

Welcome to Fontanetta Neuropsychology PLLC, conveniently located in Huntington, NY.  Our mission is to provide our patients and their families with accurate diagnoses, an in-depth explanation of their cognitive profile, and recommendations for treatment and future success.  As a pediatric practice, we largely serve children and adults ranging from 12 months through 26 years who are experiencing cognitive, academic, social, emotional, or adaptive limitations.

Rebecca A. Fontanetta, Psy.D., ABPdN

Dr. Rebecca A. Fontanetta is a board-certified (American Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology) pediatric neuropsychologist who received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology from Nova Southeastern University.  She completed her clinical psychology internship at St. Vincent Neuroscience Institute-St. Vincent Hospital and fellowships at both Mass General for Children at NSMC and Stony Brook Medicine.  Originally from Long Island, Dr. Fontanetta specializes in the evaluation and therapeutic treatment of children  with brain-based behavior and psychiatric disorders. She underwent clinical training for ADOS-2 administration at the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain at Weill Cornell Medicine.  She has particular interest in neurodevelopmental, behavior, and psychiatric disorders in children.  She also has experience in pediatric psychotherapy and applied behavior analysis. Dr. Fontanetta aims to serve as a diagnostician and guide for the next steps of your child's journey.
